ABSTRACT. This article presents an empirical study carried out to evaluate and analyze sexting as a possible deviant behavior. Building my argument by drawing on data collected from DrEd, MediaSmarts, Netsafe, Our Watch, Plan International Australia, Relationships Australia, and YouGovOmnibus, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding level of agreement with statements about the sharing of nudes (%). Data collected from 4,200 respondents are tested against the research model by using structural equation modeling.
