ABSTRACT. Dworkin argues for a universal healthcare system, a more generous welfare scheme, greater regulations on campaign expenditures and contributions, and race-sensitive admissions policies. Dworkin's notion of undeserved wealth presupposes the nonentrepreneur for whom wealth is immediately consumed or invested for future consumption. The equality of resources forbids that people should be allowed to retain the benefits of superior talent because it is just brute luck that one person should be endowed with more productive talent than another.
