ABSTRACT. In this paper I am particularly interested in exploring shaping human behavior in organizations, organizational dynamics and decision-making processes in organizations, and understanding uncertainty in organizations. Hatch emphasizes that the diverse theoretical base of organization theory creates more possibilities for effectively designing and managing organizations. Secchi holds that the power of individuals, groups, and organizations take into consideration alternatives when making decisions. Burke and Stets observe that society is patterned and organized, and the self emerges within the context of a complex, organized society. Grote point out that decision-makers in organizations enact their environment and the contingencies it contains through selective attention and interpretation. (pp. 264–269)
