Medical Big Data, Body Sensor Networks, and Online Patient Engagement in Artificial Intelligence-enabled Healthcare Delivery
Peter WilliamsABSTRACT. This article reviews and advances existing literature concerning the relationship between medical big data, body sensor networks, and online patient engagement. Using and replicating data from Accenture and Zebra Technologies, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding the business drivers for offering wellness, prevention, and remote patient monitoring in Internet of Medical Things solutions. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
