ENVIRONMENTAL CONSEQUENCES OF LIBERALIZED AND EXPANDING GLOBAL TRADE
GHEORGHE H. POPESCU, FLORIN CRISTIAN CIURLAU, TEODORA I. BITOIUABSTRACT. The results of the current study converge with prior research on how domestic and regional political economies and national security concerns influence the outlines of particular worldwide environmental governance proposals, the economic aspects of global environmental governance schemes, and the increase and effectiveness of market-based governance processes. The paper generates insights about the role of private economic participants in international environmental sectors, the underlying forces of transnational climate governance, and the performance and strength of environmental governance entities. pp. 66–72
