ABSTRACT. This research considers the impact of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies on complex industrial process workflows within intelligent manufacturing ecosystems. The research particularly looks at new technologies and the globalization of these technologies in different manufacturing industries, taking cognizance of both advantages and disadvantages. By extensive literature review and data mining, the authors demonstrate that those who have implemented AI solutions for their manufacturing processes are getting many benefits. The paper also emphasizes the opportunities of generative AI convergence with existing and new manufacturing technologies. The results describe how generative AI might eventually improve the systems and what issues they would face in the adoption phase. Understanding integration can be achieved if both organizational preparedness and available technological assets are harmonized, thus laying out the groundwork for future advancements in intelligent manufacturing ecosystems.
