ABSTRACT. The aim of this paper is to synthesize and analyze existing evidence on big data-driven smart manufacturing. Using and replicating data from Capgemini, CompTIA, IW Custom Research, Kronos, Microsoft, and PwC, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding top challenges in formulating and implementing smart factory strategies. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
