DIGITAL REPUTATION AND ECONOMIC TRUST IN THE KNOWLEDGE LABOR MARKET
ELVIRA NICA, MIHAELA COMANESCU, CRISTINA MANOLEABSTRACT. This article reviews Gandini (2016) and supplements it with theoretically based empirical research. Reputation is the configuration taken by social capital throughout a digitally mediated labor market where the likelihood of involving into direct interaction is greatly diminished. The governance of social connections throughout (non-)digital networked settings is maintained through the utilization of reputation as an asset with the influential goal of accessing resources, products, and returns.
