THE SOCIAL ONTOLOGY OF INSTITUTIONS: A REASSESSMENT
DOINA POPESCU LJUNGHOLMABSTRACT. This article reviews Little (2016) and supplements it with theoretically based empirical research concerning the ontology of the social world, the socially situated individual, the ontological status of social structures, the character of social entities and their link to social participants, and institutions as intricate social entities.
