ABSTRACT. In the present paper, I focus on Peirce’s insights on personhood, his semiotic categorization of proper names, his categorizations of signs, and his semiotic and analytic philosophy of language. In this paper I am particularly interested in exploring Peirce’s understanding of the real, his three-fold categorical scheme, his view of meaning, his pragmatism, and his theory of proper names. pp. 150–155

Keywords: Peirce, proper name, pragmatism, semiotics, meaning
