ABSTRACT. Research on the importance of sustainability for the health professions, the relevant function of health backing in aiming at community sustainability issues, sustainable resolutions to health imbalances, and obstacles and facilitators to integrating sustainability into community-based health care practice has yielded fairly consistent findings over the past decade. This research makes conceptual and methodological contributions to the expanding connection of health promotion performance with sustainability standards, the societal cost savings of particular sustainability undertakings in health care, the conducts that should be embraced by health and social care entities to compel sustainable practices, and the link between health advancement and sustainability practice. pp. 211–216
