ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study was to empirically examine real-time and remote health monitoring Internet of Things-based systems. Building my argument by drawing on data collected from Accenture, eMarketer, PAC, and Tata Consultancy Services, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding ways in which their company is using Internet of Things technologies, according to healthcare and life sciences executives (% of respondents). The structural equation modeling technique was used to test the research model.
