ABSTRACT. The aim of this paper is to examine the associations between the entrepreneurially inclined and entrepreneurial characteristics. In so doing, the study attempts to distinguish between those who are entrepreneurially inclined and those who are not on the basis of psychological entrepreneurial characteristics. This study was conducted on a sample of the final B.Tech engineering students in India. Correlation and regression analysis were conducted. The results showed that those who are entrepreneurially inclined have greater tolerance for ambiguity and higher propensity to take risk and the variable entrepreneurially inclined has significantly associated with psychological entrepreneurial characters, risk and tolerance for ambiguity. The result adequately distinguished between those who are entrepreneurially inclined and those who are not. pp. 36-51
