ABSTRACT. Our paper contributes to the literature by providing evidence on the question of religion’s place in legal and political discourse, the ethical influence of religion, the influence of religion in politics, the epistemic status of religious reasons, and the integration between religious and moral motivation. The mainstay of the paper is formed by an analysis of the relationship between constitutionalism, secularism and religion, ethics in relation to theology and religion, and individual and collective religious involvement in politics. pp. 214–219

Keywords: church, religion, politics, secularism, constitutionalism, theology
