ABSTRACT. Based on an in-depth survey of the literature, the purpose of the paper is to explore emotional and psychological distress among LGBTQ+ people in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. Using and replicating data from ACHA, CDC, Ginger, GWI, HMN, LGBT Foundation, NHS, Pew Research Center, Statista, UGMH, and The Williams Institute, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding the psychological effects of COVID-19 pandemic trauma on mental health burden among LGBTQ+ individuals. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
