With the emergence of Web 2.0, women had the opportunity to communicate, share information, publish their work and become more active on the Internet as being protected by the anonymity it provides. Statistics have revealed that the use of computers and the Internet has increased in Romania in the last decade and so has the number of women using them. In this article I will discuss the use of Internet by women worldwide and I will analyze whether Romanian women consider it a source of information and learning or just one of entertainment. pp. 157–162
