ABSTRACT. Based on an in-depth survey of the literature, the purpose of the paper is to explore real-time medical data analytics in Internet of Things-based smart healthcare systems. Using and replicating data from Accenture, the AHSN Network, GE Healthcare, McKinsey & Co., MIT Technology Review Insights, the NPD Group, PAC, PwC, the Rockefeller Foundation, and USAID, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding how artificial intelligence is disrupting healthcare and main capability gaps in healthcare organizations (data analytics). Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
