Internet of Things Smart Devices, Industrial Artificial Intelligence, and Real-Time Sensor Networks in Sustainable Cyber-Physical Production Systems
George Lăzăroiu et al.ABSTRACT. The aim of this paper is to synthesize and analyze existing evidence on Internet of Things smart devices, industrial artificial intelligence, and real-time sensor networks in sustainable cyber-physical production systems. Using and replicating data from Capgemini, Deloitte, Ericsson, Management Events, MHI, PAC, and PwC, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding cyber-physical production networks in Industry 4.0-based manufacturing systems. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
