ABSTRACT. Empirical evidence on sustainable Internet of Things-based manufacturing systems has been scarcely documented in the literature. Using and replicating data from CompTIA, Deloitte, EY, IW Custom Research, Kronos, MHI, PwC, and SME, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding the link between smart industrial value creation, cyber-physical production networks, and real-time big data analytics. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
