ABSTRACT. I am specifically interested in how previous research investigated the dynamic decentralized architecture of the internet, decentralized practices of virtual social cooperation, the social networks of popular culture, production practices of cognitive capitalism, and the labor of the audience commodity. The mainstay of the paper is formed by an analysis of the ideological reproduction of communicative capitalism, constitutive features of communicative capitalism, the impact of networked communications on democratic practices, the convenience of the Web, and the speed, simultaneity and interconnectivity of electronic communications. pp. 206–214 Keywords: cognitive capitalism, social cooperation, interconnectivity, media |
