DOES BUREAUCRACY WORK IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST? PDF Print E-mail
Written by LUMINITA IONESCU
ABSTRACT. The theory that I shall seek to elaborate here puts considerable emphasis on the quality of bureaucratic performance and capitalist economic development, the role of state bureaucratic performance for economic growth and development, democracy’s strength alongside legitimacy, and the supposedly negative effects of a bureaucratized society. We are specifically interested in how previous research investigated the role played by bureaucracy in PA, the effectiveness of bureaucratic organizations, and the effects of ICTs on the internal organization of bureaucratic institutions. pp. 144–149
